IF YOU COULD READ MY MIND by Gordon Lightfoot (C) 1969, Early Morning Music
Transcribed by me, Matthew Fifer. Mistakes (C), Me 🙂
Notes: This is my first tab post and it took forever. It’s really hard to
think and fingerpick at the same time! :^) Anyway, this is how I
play it. I have included some words to help you know where you are.
Note that Gord rarely uses the high-E string. Also, to be in the same
key as the recording, capo on the 2nd fret. Finally, view it with a
monospaced font to keep spacing correct. Whew!
I included the intro and a verse. I trust y’all can extrapolate the
rest of the tune from this. If you see mistakes, let me know.
Have fun!
