This song is pretty easy to play. The intro goes something like this….
e ———8-8————————————————————————|
B —5-8-5-5-5-5-5-8-5—————————————————————-|
G —6-6-6-6—6-6-6-6–REPEAT X4 W/CLEAN TONE—————————————-|
D —7-7-7-7—7-7-7-7—————————————————————-|
A —0-0-0-0—0—–0—————————————————————-|
E ————————————————————————————|
The next part with the drums and bass is the same except distorted. The verse is also the
same with this riff at the end of each block…
e ————————————————————————————|
B ————————————————————————————|
G –4-4-x-x-x-x-7-7——————————————————————-|
D –4-4-x-x-x-x-7-7——————————————————————-|
A –2-2-x-x-x-x-5-5——————————————————————-|
E ————————————————————————————|
Just listen to the tune to figure which bit goes where. Next is the chorus. I`m not too
sure about this but it`s pretty much right I think…..
e ————————————————————————————|
B ————————————————————————————|
G ————10-10-9—–9-9-9-/13-13-13———————————————|
D –7-7-7–10-10-10-9—–9-9-9-/13-13-13———————————————|
A –7-7-7–10-8–8–7—–7-7-7-/11-11-11———————————————|
E –5-5-5–8——–0—–0-0-0——————————————————-|
You`ll have to listen fo the strum. I think the 11 power chord is wrong but I`m not
sure.
The bassline basically follows the power chords but in the verse it goes…..
E —/555555-/555555-/555555-/555555—-
I`m not sure about the amount of times the A is played but you can listen for that.
The verse is exactly the same as the root note of the power chords. For the July She
lied… bit I play the notes from the chorus in the same order but different time and
omit the high G#.
