Title: Age Six Racer
Transcribed by: Andrew Biles
I worked out the version Chris plays on the ‘A mark, a mission, a brand, a scar’
bonus dvd as well so I thought I may as well post it up. The versions on UG are
very close, but I just feel this is how it’s actually played. Lyrics are right
at the bottom underneath the live version if you need them.

There’s a couple of extra notes on the outro to the version on ‘Swiss Army Romance’ that
people do not notice, so you have to listen quite carefully to hear them. The open D
string on the last part is optional as it sounds as though it could be there, but not at
the same time.

Lyrics:
So long sweet summer,
I stumbled upon you and greatfully basked in your rays.
So long sweet slumber.
I fell into you now you’re gracefully falling away.
Hey thanks, thanks for that summer.
It is cold where your going
I hope that your heart is always warm.
I gave you the best,i gave you the best that I had.
You pased on the letters
& passed on the best that I had.
So long sweet summer,
I stumbled upon you and greatfully basked in your rays.
So long sweet slumber.
I fell into you now you’re gracefully falling away.
I hate the winter in Lexington
