My favourite way to play this song is with a clean, acoustic
sounding effect for the first two verses, then a heavy
distortion for the chorus, followed by a real smooth lead
sound for the solo, using the neck pickup. The actual record
is obviously played on a steel-stringed acoustic.
I play all of the chords using either the A or E shapes,
I find these sound closer to the record than if you use the D
shape for the Db and Eb.
